Our programs are designed and programmed by ourselves, for farmers, by practical farmers.

All programs are complete (NO EXPENSIVE ADD-ONS), are designed to meet all known DEFRA requirements and, wherever possible, users’ suggestions are incorporated into the programs.

Ted Dodsworth is a pig and poultry farmer whose hobbies are computer programming and Morris Dancing. He has designed and written all the Buttercup Software programs

John Page recently retired after 41 years dairy farming and cereal growing, has helped in designing and planning Buttercup and Croplan for Windows. John’s pedigree Holstein Friesian herd of 120 milking cows averaged over 9000 litres, and he grew 200 plus acres of cereals.
